Two cars from very different eras have recently been placed on loan to the Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Museum.

The oldest (image above) is a classic 1941 Lincoln Continental cabriolet owned by Harvey Oberg of Woodbury, Minnesota. This is a particularly unique automobile. It was purchased new by a Wall Street financier who lived on a magnificent estate in northern New Jersey. It was painted a custom grey, identical to the rest of his cars. Harvey eventually acquired the car and performed a complete restoration—then, drove it thousands of miles while winning awards every place it was shown.

The newest (image above) is a 2000 Lincoln LS sedan. It has been placed on loan to the museum by Bazil LaRoche of Riverside, California. The car has been in his family since new. His grandparents purchased the car—the 101st built —in 2000. The 2000 Lincoln LS was a highly optioned car, designed to compete with the BMW 5 Series. It featured a choice of two engines---V-8 and V-6—as well as manual or automatic transmissions and rear wheel drive.
